How an agent pays
Call
Call the tool or endpoint as usual. There is no account and no key.
Read the price
A priced call answers 402 Payment Required, with the price in its PAYMENT-REQUIRED header.
Pay and call again
Call again with a signed payment for that price.
Receive the answer
The answer is released after the payment settles.

A call that fails, or that a tool refuses, is not charged.
Paying makes the paying wallet, the amount and the time public on Base, and the payment facilitator sees them. Your inputs are not sent to it.
One licence, one invoice
One DAP licence key covers DAP Bellwether and the DAP Compute Market Tracker, on their MCP servers and their APIs. Use is counted per licence and invoiced, so nothing settles on a blockchain.
